HazloLaw – Business Lawyers, through its representative, Elizabeth Lemay, attended the 28th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit held in Lima, Peru. The APEC Summit gathered leaders from member economies such as Canada and the U.S. with the goal of facilitating economic growth, cooperation, trade and investment. Four main priorities were discussed during the Summit: Investing in Human Capital Development; Moving towards the modernization of MSMEs; Fostering the Regional Food System; and Advancing in the Regional Economic Integration and Growth Agenda.
Prior to the APEC Summit, the APEC CEO Summit was held and attended by business leaders from around the world. HazloLaw – Business Lawyers was able to promote not only its expertise in Canadian and international business law but also Canada and particularly, the Ottawa region as an attractive investment destination.
